Weekly Mass

School Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes

Every Thursday morning, our school community comes together for Mass—a sacred time when we pause, pray, and grow in faith together.

Students sit with their Mass buddies, forming friendships across grade levels and learning what it means to be part of something bigger than themselves. The homilies are crafted with children in mind—thoughtful, engaging, and often sparking conversations long after Mass is over.

Each week, a different class leads the way by serving as readers and gift bearers, giving students the opportunity to participate actively and confidently in the celebration of the Eucharist.

And then there’s the music—joyful, powerful, and deeply moving. Our student choir is something truly special. With voices that lift hearts and lyrics that stay with you, their music adds a beauty and spirit to our school Mass that’s hard to put into words—and far more than what many expect from a typical Catholic school experience.

At Our Lady of Lourdes, Mass is not just a weekly event. It’s a cherished part of who we are, shaping our students in love, reverence, and joy—one Thursday at a time.
