Field Trips: Where Learning Comes to Life

At Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School, field trips aren’t just fun—they’re purposeful. Each one is carefully planned to connect with what students are learning in class, giving them a chance to see their lessons in action and experience the world through a new lens.

From walking the cobblestone streets of St. Augustine to launching curiosity at Kennedy Space Center, our students don’t just read about history, science, or art—they step into it. They visit museums, farms, theaters, and more, and along the way, they start to see how learning shapes the world around them.

Most students can’t wait for field trip day—and we get it. These moments outside the classroom spark imagination, build independence, and make learning feel exciting and real. They come back with stories to tell, questions to ask, and connections that stick with them long after the bus ride home.
