Student Council: Leadership in Action
At Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School, the Student Council isn’t just a club—it’s a hands-on experience in leadership, service, and responsibility. Beginning in 4th grade, students have the opportunity to be elected as representatives, with our middle school students serving as executive officers. Our 8th graders take on the roles of president and vice president, leading with integrity and courage.
Student Council members take an active role in shaping school life. They manage the school store, using profits to support student events like the Halloween Dance and the cherished 8th-grade legacy gift. Throughout the year, they also organize fundraisers that benefit local and global charities, putting our core values of love and service into action.
Meetings are held monthly, but leadership goes beyond the meeting room. The president, vice president, and secretary regularly collaborate with school administration to bring student-driven ideas to life. Being part of the Student Council is more than a title—it’s a privilege and an opportunity to make a lasting impact on our school community.
If your child is ready to lead, serve, and make a difference, Student Council is where they can start.
